Connecticut holds off Colgate

Stanley Robinson drained 18 points, as No. 12 Connecticut took down Colgate 77-63 in the first round of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off North Regional on Monday night.

UConn couldn't cover as 27-point home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 136-point total listed by sportsbooks.

Kemba Walker added 16 points for the Huskies, who got 14 points from Gavin Edwards in the win.

Mike Venezia had 17 points and six rebounds to lead Colgate, while Kyle Roemer and Yaw Gyawu each dropped 12 points for the Raiders.
