The Mississippi Rebels went into the halftime break with a nine point lead en route to an 89-71 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers in the opening round of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Thursday afternoon.
Mississippi covered the 11.5-point spread, and the combined 160 points sailed OVER the posted total of 147.5.
Murphy Holloway led Mississippi with a game-high 26 points from 12-for-18 shooting. Maurice Creek had 18 points for Indiana in the loss.
