The South Carolina Gamecocks scored 40 points in the second half and sealed a 78-68 victory over the La Salle Explorers Thursday night in the opening round of the Charleston Classic.
South Carolina covered the 7-point spread, while the 146 points went UNDER the posted total of 154.
Dominique Archie led South Carolina with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Brandis Raley-Ross added 16 in the win.
Rodney Green tossed in a game-high 23 points with six rebounds in a losing effort for La Salle.
