The Florida Gators turned up the defense in the second half to take a 80-58 win over the Troy Trojans at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center Friday night.
Florida covered as a 17-point home favorite.
The Gators got 23 points off the bench from Kenny Boynton while Chandler Parsons scored 15 points and Dan Werner added 12 points in the win.
The Trojans were led by Richard Delk's 15 points. The next highest scorers were reserves Yamene Coleman and Antywan Jones with eight points each.
