Steven Gray scored 27 points to lead Gonzaga past Colorado 76-72 in the first round of the EA Sports Maui Invitational on Monday.
Gonzaga couldn't cover as 10-point favorites, while the teams played OVER the 143-point total set by oddsmakers.
Matt Bouldin added 21 points for the Bulldogs, who got 10 points and six rebounds from Robert Sacre in the win.
Cory Higgins had 19 points and six boards for Colorado, while Alec Burks went for 11 points and six rebounds for the Buffaloes.
