West Virginia downs Citadel

John Flowers dropped 13 points, as No. 8 West Virginia got past The Citadel 69-50 on Tuesday night.

West Virginia couldn't cover as 24-point home favorites, while no total was set by oddsmakers for the matchup.

Kevin Jones added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Mountaineers, who got 10 points apiece from Da'Sean Butler and Casey Mitchell in the win.

Cameron Wells scored 19 points for Citadel, while Zach Urbanus had 12 points for the Bulldogs.
