Iowa State slams Tennessee State

Marquis Gilstrap went for 18 points and 10 rebounds, as Iowa State drilled Tennessee State 84-53 in the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Tuesday night.

Iowa State covered as 23-point home favorites, while no total was set by oddsmakers for the matchup.

Craig Brackins added 12 points for the Cyclones, who got 11 points and seven assists from Diante Garrett in the rout.

Josh Sain led Tennessee State with 12 points, while Lonnie Funderburke chipped in with four points and eight boards for the Tigers.
