Michigan outlasts Creighton in OT

Manny Harris just missed a triple-double, netting 21 points with nine rebounds and nine assists as he led the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines past the Creighton Bluejays 83-76 Thursday in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic.

Michigan covered the 6-point spread, and the combined 159 points sailed OVER the posted total of 142.

Laval Lucas-Perry added 17 points for Michigan, who also got 16 points from DeShawn Sims in the victory.

Justin Carter poured in 21 points and hauled down seven rebounds for Creighton in the loss.
