The Texas A & M Aggies built up a 13 point lead at halftime and managed to hold off the No. 19 Clemson Tigers 70-60 in the opening round of the 76 Classic Thursday afternoon.
Texas A & M won the game as a 6-point underdog, while the teams played UNDER the posted total of 150.
B.J. Holmes led the Aggies with a game-high 21 points and six rebounds, while David Loubeau added 12 in the upset.
Trevor Booker led Clemson with 18 points in the loss.
