Washington State bounces Nicholls State

Klay Thompson netted 21 points to help lead the Washington State Cougars to a 78-69 win over the Nicholls State Colonels Friday night.

Washington State failed to cover the 14-point spread, while the combined 147 points sailed OVER the posted total of 136.

DeAngelo Casto chipped in with 18 points for Washington State. Fred Hunter poured in a game-high 25 points in the loss for Nicholls State.
