The Virginia Tech Hokies escaped with a 66-64 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions at the Bryce Jordan Center Saturday.
Virginia Tech covered as a 1-point road underdog while the final score played OVER the 125.5-point total.
The Hokies were paced by guard Malcolm Delaney, who poured in 25 points. Forward Jeff Allen added 12 points in the win.
The Nittany Lions were led by 32 points from Talor Battle, who missed a layup to tie the game in the final seconds.
