James Beatty drained 21 points to lead Rutgers over Rider 80-70 in overtime on Tuesday night.

Rutgers covered as 7.5-point home favorites, while the teams played OVER the 137-point total listed by sportsbooks.

Mike Rosario added 18 points and seven rebounds for the Scarlet Knights, who got 17 points from Jonathan Mitchell in the victory.

Ryan Thompson had 26 points and eight boards for Rider, while Justin Robinson scored 15 points for the Broncs.
