The Wake Forest Demon Deacons held onto a seven point halftime lead and closed out the NC Wilmington Seahawks 80-69 Wednesday night.
Wake Forest covered the 8-point spread, while the teams played UNDER the posted total of 150.5.
L.D. Williams led Wake Forest with a game-high 23 points, while Al-Farouq Aminu and Ishmael Smith both had 19 in the win.
Chad Tomko had 12 points and John Fields added 11 for NC Wilmington in the loss.
