Bo Spencer scored 22 points, including two important free throws in the final minute, to lead the LSU Tigers to a 65-61 victory against the Rice Owls on Saturday.
The Tigers did not cover the 11.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the posted total of 126.5.
Spencer was 8-for-16 from the field, including 4-for-10 on 3-pointers. Tasmin Mitchell recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Tamir Jackson led Rice with a season-high 19 points.
