North Florida surprises Southern Miss

Brad Haugabrook scored 11 points to lead North Florida past Southern Miss 53-46 in the Southern Mississippi Christmas Classic on Wednesday night.

North Florida cashed as 13.5-point road underdogs, while the game played UNDER the 125-point total listed by oddsmakers.

Stan Januska chipped in with nine points and six rebounds for the Ospreys, who got five points and six boards from Andy Diaz in the upset.

Gary Flowers went for 20 points and 12 rebounds for Southern Mississippi, while no other players finished in double figures for the Golden Eagles.
