Early lead propels Boston College

Despite getting outscored in the second half, the Boston College Eagles managed to come away with an 85-76 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks Wednesday.

Boston College covered the 5-point spread, and the 161 points sailed OVER the posted total of 144.

Rakim Sanders tossed in 22 points to lead the way for Boston College, and Reggie Jackson had 16 in the win.

Devan Downey poured in a game-high 29 points in the loss for South Carolina.
