Jonathan Peoples poured in a team-high 23 points to lead the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a 93-78 victory over the Providence Friars Wednesday night.
Notre Dame easily covered the 8-point spread, and the 171 points made it OVER the posted total of 168.
Tim Abromaitis collected 22 points for Notre Dame, and Luke Harangody chipped in with 19 in the win.
Jamine Peterson netted a game-high 24 points for Providence, and Sharaud Curry had 23 in the loss.
