The Houston Cougars dominated the second half and came away with an 83-66 win over the Rice Owls Wednesday night.
Houston easily covered the 6-point spread, while the 149 points went UNDER the posted total of 149.5.
Maurice McNeil finished with 23 points for Houston, and Aubrey Coleman added 22 in the win.
Tamir Jackson led Rice with 19 points, and Lawrence Ghoram added 15 in the loss.
