The Villanova Wildcats got a big game from the returning Corey Stokes, defeating the Marquette Golden Eagles 78-76 at The Pavilion Saturday.
Marquette covered as a 9-point road underdog while the final score played OVER the 149.5-point total.
Stokes scored 16 points after missing a game with a hamstring injury. Scottie Reynolds added 15 points in the win.
Lazar Hayward led the Golden Eagles with 20 points while Darius Johnson-Odom scored 16 points off the bench.
