The Clemson Tigers were badly outplayed in the second half, but managed to hang on and defeat the NC State Wolfpack 73-70 Saturday afternoon.
Clemson failed to cover the 5-point spread, and the 143 points made it OVER the posted total of 139.
Trevor Booker netted 20 points and hauled down six rebounds for Clemson, while Jerai Grant and Tanner Smith had 11 apiece in the win.
Richard Howell tossed in 13 points and grabbed 10 boards in a double-double in the loss.
