Rice covered as a 14.5-point home underdog while the final score played OVER the 127-point total.
Elliot Williams erupted for 32 points for the Tigers while Roburt Sallie added 12 points in the win.
Junior center Trey Stanton led the Owls with 18 points and seven rebounds.
