Kentucky holds off Auburn

The second-ranked Kentucky Wildcats were outplayed in the second half, but managed to hang on and defeat the Auburn Tigers 72-67 Saturday.

Kentucky failed to cover the 10.5-point spread, while the 139 points went UNDER the posted total of 154.

DeMarcus Cousins shot 5-for-6 from the field with 16 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double in leading Kentucky.

DeWayne Reed had 19 points and dished out six assists for Auburn in the loss.
