Georgetown wrecks Rutgers
Center Greg Monroe showed his teeth, scoring 21 points for the Georgetown Hoyas in an 88-63 win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at the Verizon Center Saturday.
Georgetown covered as a 19.5-point home favorite while the final score played OVER the 136-point total.
Monroe added 14 rebounds and seven assists to go with his buckets. Chris Wright added 16 points for the Hoyas.
The Scarlet Knights were led by forward Jonathan Mitchell, who scored 21 points. Guard Mike Rosario chipped in with 15 points in the loss.
