Virginia Tech rallies past Virginia in OT

The Virginia Tech Hokies rallied to force overtime and went on to defeat the Virginia Cavaliers 76-71.

Virginia Tech won the game as a 2.5-point underdog, while the 147 points sailed OVER the posted total of 129.

Malcolm Delaney poured in a game-high 28 points to lead Virginia Tech, and Dorenzo Hudson added 18 in the win.

Mike Scott poured in 21 points and Sylven Landesberg had 19 in a losing effort for Virginia.
