South Carolina sneaks past Georgia

The South Carolina Gamecocks outlasted the Georgia Bulldogs in the second half and pulled out a thrilling 78-77 victory Saturday night.

South Carolina could not cover the 7-point spread, while the 155 points sailed OVER the posted total of 140.

Devan Downey netted a game-high 33 points to power South Carolina, and Sam Muldrow added 19 in the win.

Travis Leslie had 21 points for Georgia, and Trey Thompkins netted 18 in a losing effort.
