James Dews netted a game-high 21 points Sunday afternoon, as the Miami Hurricanes defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies 82-75.

The Hurricanes were a 2-point favorite in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (133.5).

Malcolm Grant added 13 points for Miami and Durand Scott chipped in with 12 points.

Dorenzo Hudson led Virginia Tech with 22 points and Jeff Allen netted 17 points
