The North Carolina Tar Heels got a much-needed 74-61 win over rivals, the North Carolina State Wolfpack, at Dean E. Smith Center Saturday.
UNC covered as a 7-point home favorite while the final score played UNDER the 147.5-point total.
The Tar Heels were led by Larry Drew II, who scored 15 points, and Deon Thompson, who netted 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
The Wolfpack got 20 points and six rebounds from Tracy Smith.
