Cardinals top Fighting Irish in double OT
Samardo Samuels scored a game-high 36 points Wednesday night to lead the Louisville Cardinals to a 91-89 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in double overtime.
The Cardinals were an 11.5-point favorite in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (146.5).
Edgar Sosa and Jared Swopshire each netted 12 points for Louisville in the win.
Tim Abromaitis led Notre Dame with 29 points and Ben Hansbrough had 21 points.
