The Texas Longhorns suffered numerous injuries but escaped with a 71-67 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders at United Spirit Arena Saturday.
Texas Tech covered as a 6.5-point home underdog while the final score played UNDER the 155-point total.
With Dexter Pittman and Dogus Balbay both took some licks, but the Longhorns got a big game from sixth man Gary Johnson. He poured in 22 points.
Nick Okorie led the Red Raiders with 21 points while D'walyn Roberts and Mike Singletary scored 12 points each.
