Ben Hansbrough led the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double for Notre Dame, and Tim Abromaitis collected 17 in the win.
Jermaine Dixon netted 13 points for Pittsburgh and Ashton Gibbs added 13 in the loss.
