The Tennessee Volunteers secured their spot in the field of 65 with a huge 74-65 win over the Kentucky Wildcats at Thompson-Boling Arena Saturday.
Tennessee covered as a 3-point home underdog while the final score played UNDER the 143-point total.
The Volunteers were paced by J.P. Prince's 20 points and late free throws to ice the game. Scotty Hopson scored 15 points including a huge 3-pointer down the stretch.
John Wall led the Wildcats with 19 points while fellow freshman DeMarcus Cousins scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
