The South Florida Bulls put up 53 points in the second half and came away with a hard-fought 99-93 victory over the Providence Friars Saturday night.
South Florida failed to cover the 6-point spread, while the combined 192 points sailed OVER the posted total of 153.5.
Dominque Jones led South Florida with 26 points for South Florida, and Augustus Gilchrist netted 21 points. Chris Howard chipped in with 20 points, and Mike Mercer had 18 in the win.
Sharaud Curry and Jamine Peterson had 26 points for Providence in the loss.
