The Xavier Musketeers held off a last second attempt to defeat the Richmond Spiders 78-76 in a double overtime thriller Sunday afternoon.
Xavier failed to cover the 7.5-point spread, while the 154 points sailed OVER the posted total of 136.5.
Terrell Holloway collected 24 points and five rebounds for Xavier, and Jordan Crawford had 19 in the victory.
David Gonzalez tossed in 18 points and hauled down eight rebounds for Richmond in the loss.
