Michigan State holds off Penn State
The No. 11 Michigan State Spartans were outscored in the second half, but managed to hang on and defeat the Penn State Nittany Lions 67-65 Thursday night.
Michigan State failed to cover the 13-point spread, while the combined score made it OVER the posted total of 131.5.
Draymond Green poured in 14 points with 10 rebounds for a double-double, and Raymar Morgan netted 16 points in the victory.
Talor Battle had 16 points, five rebounds, and seven assists for Penn State. Chris Babb also had 16 points in a losing effort.
