Virginia Tech gets past North Carolina State

Malcolm Delaney and Dorenzo Hudson scored 21 points apiece to lead Virginia Tech past North Carolina State 71-59 on Wednesday night.

Virginia Tech covered as 8-point home favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 136-point total set by oddsmakers.

Jeff Allen added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Hokies, who got seven boards from Terrell Bell in the win.

Javier Gonzalez dropped 16 points for North Carolina State, while Tracy Smith netted 12 points for the Wolfpack.
