Seton Hall covered the 3.5-point spread, and the 159 points made it OVER the posted total of 150.
Herb Pope shot 9-for-18 from the field with 24 points in leading Seton Hall, while Jeremy Hazell added 19 and Jeff Robinson had 16 points in the win.
Mike Rosario tossed in 17 points for Rutgers, and Jonathan Mitchell collected 13 in the loss.
