The UTEP Miners came out with 30 points in the second half and rallied for a 52-50 victory over the UAB Blazers Saturday night.
UTEP failed to cover the 6-point spread, while the 102 points went UNDER the posted total of 135.5.
Myron Strong shot 6-for-8 from the field with 15 points, and Derrick Caracter added 13 in the win.
Aaron Johnson netted 16 points and dished out five assists in the loss.
