Virginia rallies past Cleveland State
The Virginia Cavaliers poured in 49 second half points to come back and defeat the Cleveland State Vikings 76-65 Wednesday night in the Cancun Classic.
Virginia covered the 2.5-point spread, and the 141 points sailed OVER the posted total of 126.
Sylven Landesberg led Virginia with 20 points, while Will Sherrill added 18 points and six rebounds.
Jeremy Montgomery had 14 points for Cleveland State, and Aaron Pogue netted 13 in the loss.
