Cornell surprises St. John's

Jon Jaques scored 20 points to lead Cornell past St. John's 71-66 in the MSG Holiday Festival in New York on Monday night.

Cornell cashed as 3.5-point underdogs, while the teams played UNDER the 141-point total set by oddsmakers.

Jeff Foote went for 19 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks for the Big Red, who got 10 points from both Ryan Wittman and Chris Wroblewski in the win.

Dwight Hardy drained 19 points for St. John's, while D.J. Kennedy added 15 points and seven boards for the Red Storm.
