Damion James went for a game-high 28 points as the Texas Longhorns defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 82-75 in the Big 12 Conference tournament Wednesday night.
Texas failed to cover the 9-point spread, while the 157 points made it OVER the posted total of 146.
Dexter Pittman had 16 points for Texas, and Gary Johnson finished with 15 in the win.
Diante Garrett and LaRon Dendy had 14 points apiece in the loss.
