Virginia downs Boston College

Sammy Zeglinski dropped 21 points to lead Virginia past Boston College 68-62 in the first round of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday.

Virginia cashed as 5-point underdogs, while the teams played OVER the 121-point total set by oddsmakers.

Jeff Jones added 14 points for the Cavaliers, who got 12 points from Jerome Meyinsse in the win.

Rakim Sanders drained 22 points for Boston College, while Reggie Jackson had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Golden Eagles.
