Miami (FL) upends Virginia Tech

Durand Scott went for 17 points and six rebounds to lead Miami (FL) past Virginia Tech 70-65 in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals at Greensboro Coliseum on Friday.

Miami cashed as 3.5-point underdogs, while the game resulted in a PUSH on the 135-point total set by oddsmakers.

DeQuan Jones added 14 points for the Hurricanes, who got eight points and nine boards from James Dews in the upset.

Jeff Allen had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Virginia Tech, while Dorenzo Hudson netted 16 points for the Hokies.
