The Temple Owls advanced to the Atlantic 10 championship game with a 57-44 win over the Rhode Island Rams in the A-10 semifinals at Boardwalk Hall Saturday afternoon.
Temple covered as a 3.5-point favorite while the final score played under the 127.5-point total.
The Owls got 16 points from guard Ryan Brooks and 14 points from Juan Fernandez, who added six assist in the win.
The Rams were led by Keith Cothran, who was the only player in double figures with 11 points. Froward Delroy James chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds.
