The Duke Blue Devils avoided a letdown to the Miami Hurricanes, winning 77-74 in the ACC semifinals at Greensboro Coliseum Saturday.
Miami covered as an 11.5-point underdog while the final score played OVER the 132-point total.
The Blue Devils were led by Kyle Singler's 27 points and eight rebounds while Jon Scheyer scored 16 points, dished out four assists and grabbed six rebounds in the win.
The Hurricanes improbable run came to a halt, with Durand Scott scoring 23 points and Malcolm Grant adding 15 points in the loss.
