BYU downs Florida in double OT

The BYU Cougars tore apart the Florida Gators in the second overtime for a 99-92 thrilling victory in the opening round of the NCAA tournament Thursday afternoon.

BYU covered the 5-point spread, and the combined 191 points sailed OVER the posted total of 147.

Jimmer Fredette led the way with a game-high 37 points, and Michael Lloyd Jr. added 26 in the win for BYU.

Kenny Boynton collected 26 points for Florida, and Chandler Parsons had 18 in the loss.
