Cornell upsets Temple

The Cornell Big Red scored 41 points in the second half and came away with a 78-65 victory over the Temple Owls Friday afternoon in the first-round of the NCAA tournament.

Cornell won the game 3-point underdogs, while the combined 143 points made it OVER the posted total of 122.5.

Louis Dale tossed in 21 points and dished out seven assists, while Ryan Wittman added 20 in the win.

Ryan Brooks and Juan Fernandez each had 14 points in a losing effort for Temple.
