Jon Leuer poured in 20 points and grabbed eight boards in helping the Wisconsin Badgers hang on for 53-49 victory over the Wofford Terriers Friday in the opening round of the NCAA tournament.
Wisconsin failed to cover the 10-point spread, and the teams played UNDER the posted total of 114.
Trevon Hughes added 19 points in the win for Wisconsin. Jamar Diggs had 13 points and four rebounds for Wofford in the loss.
