Wayne Runnels went for 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Creighton past South Dakota 89-78 in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament on Tuesday night.
Creighton failed to cover as 13.5-point home favorites, while the game played OVER the 150-point total set by oddsmakers.
Cavel Witter also dropped 15 points for the Bluejays, who got 14 points from Ethan Wragge in the win.
Jake Thomas had 18 points and seven boards for South Dakota, while Louie Krogman added 14 points for the Coyotes.
