Evan Turner nearly posted a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists Sunday, as the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 75-66 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Buckeyes were a 6.5-point favorite in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (134.5).
Jon Diebler added 20 points for Ohio State and David Lighty chipped in with 18 points.
Gani Lawal led Georgia Tech with 11 points, while Derrick Favors and Glen Rice Jr. each netted 10 points.
