The battle between Vanderbilt and Presbyterian didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Presbyterian was handed an 88-47 defeat on Friday at Memorial Gymnasium.

Jeffery Taylor had 27 points for Vanderbilt and Festus Ezeli chipped in with 14 points. Brad Tinsley had 10 assists for them, while Brad Tinsley was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Presbyterian got a 17-point performance from Al'Lonzo Coleman, who was supported by 11 points from Josh Johnson. Pierre Miller had 2 assists in a losing cause for Presbyterian, while Al'Lonzo Coleman grabbed 6 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Vanderbilt were victorious, as the score was 42-22 at the break.

Vanderbilt won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-21.
